Discusses the international conferences held from 1946-87, including those which concentrated on antisemitism (Seelisberg, 1947), the Holocaust (Hamburg, 1985 and Sigtuna, Sweden, 1980), neo-Nazism (Vienna, 1978) and Judaism in Christian education (Heppenheim, 1981). Appendix III (p. 87-96) gives the guidelines developed at Heppenheim on the portrayal of Jews and Judaism in educational and teaching materials. Appendix IV (p. 97-109) provides guidelines developed by the ICCJ on the place of Jewish history in the teaching of general history.
